GP Well Represented at GASS 2025

I just returned from the Great American Stamp Show 2025 in Schaumburg, Illinois, so I will keep this month’s column short. I truly feel that all collectors who attended the country’s largest annual stamp show were able to find something for their collection. Many dealers offered items of interest at all budget levels. They were joined by various clubs and all types of specialty societies.

I even added a stamp and several proof sheets to my collection and exhibit related to the Jewish National Fund.

In addition, opening day first day ceremonies for new U.S. and United Nations stamps were held, drawing large audiences. Lectures covered numerous topics and were open to all attendees. The exhibits were enough to make any collector dream big.

The Garfield-Perry Stamp Club was well represented over the show’s four-day run, Aug. 14-17. Remember that our Sept. 4 meeting will be in person. Please plan to attend and bring something for show and tell.

Philatelically yours,
Howard S. Chapman
