The Garfield-Perry Stamp Club holiday dinner was a fantastic event. All who attended had a wonderful evening.
Thanks go to Rocco Caponi for coordinating this year’s dinner, Ken Nilsestuen for handling the financial end, and all who attended for making the evening successful. Let’s increase our numbers even more next year.
This is a good time to invite a friend and/or fellow collector to join the Garfield-Perry Stamp Club. If you enjoy the club, its meetings and the annual March Party, so will other collectors. Help us increase our membership numbers to properly represent a club that is soon to be 136 years old.
Do you have a collecting specialty or interest that you enjoy? Why not volunteer to give an in-person presentation or a Zoom presentation to our membership? Please let Ray Beer know, and he will add you to our schedule. We all enjoy seeing what others collect in this fascinating hobby.
With this column is a picture of a United States first day cover of the “G” nondenominated (32 cents) stamp postmarked in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 13, 1994. I found this to be a fun item with many different varieties of G stamps.

marked in the nation’s capital on Dec. 13, 1994.
Enjoy your collecting!
Philatelically yours,
Howard S. Chapman
